Where has the summer gone?

We have been so busy! I can hardley believe that Friday is Auguest 1st! That means Lily starts school in two weeks! Yikes!!!!!! Today we went and got her back pack. She picked out a Little Pony one. We had a wonderful time in Iowa visiting family. I really did not want to come back! When we got to Grinnell I felt like we should have been home but we had a long way to go. One day I'll be back in Iowa! Today Grandma Trish was at our house so I got to scrapbook some which is always nice. This weekend I am going to go to Women of Faith with some frineds. I am hoping that we will have a great time. While in Iowa we went to Adventureland, shopping and of course swimming. Sand and I ate at the WONDERFUL Waterfront resturant! Yummy!!!!

Got to get one!

About two weeks ago I went to a new salon and had my hair cut. The gal used a FLAT IRON on my hair and I am totally hooked. I am so excited about the way it made my hair look so smooth and sleek. Yup, now I'm in the market to get a flat iron!

Memorial Day!

The dirt and hole before! Notice we are making a flower bed around the tree! :)

Half way there! Lots of sand!

Tada the finished product but not enough sand! :) Oh well we can always get more!: )
We built a sand box over the Memorial Day weekend. It started with a hole, then going to Lafayette to get the supplies. 25 bags of sand, 8 landscaping timbers and screws. This was very interesting because I had no set plan just knew what I wanted. So, when I called a couple of guys from church to come lend a drill I had two men helping with this project also. Needless to say the kids are happy and I'm happy that William will now have a place to dig other than my flower bed!
